Chris Petrucelli
Two-time National Coach of the Year and 1995 NCAA Championship Coach, Chris Petrucelli returns to Texas to be the General Manager for the USL Super League Dallas Team (Dallas Trinity FC). In 30 years as a head coach, Petrucelli has compiled a 415-178-52 (.684) record.
Petrucelli was most recently the head coach of the professional women’s soccer team, the Chicago Red Stars, from 2022-2023. Prior to coaching professional soccer, Petrucelli was the head coach for the SMU Mustangs’ women’s soccer team for 10 years (2012-2022), and was head coach at University of Texas at Austin’s women’s soccer team from 1999-2011, winning Big 12 Championships in 2006 and 2007. During that time, he also served as the coach of the United States women’s national under-21 team, and won consecutive Nordic Cup titles in 2003-2004. From 1990-1998, Petrucelli was head coach for Notre Dame’s women’s soccer team from 1990-1998, where he was named as the NCAA Women’s College Soccer Coach of the year two years in a row (1994, 1995).
